Quality Assurance Practitioner Workshop
Our 1-day Quality Assurance Practitioner Workshop focuses on establishing and maintaining an effective quality assurance function for auditing and reviewing processes and work products within an organization. The workshop includes: (1) an overview of quality assurance roles and responsibilities; (2) how to identify and define areas that affect process and product quality; and (3) how to implement adequate plans and procedures for planning, monitoring, controlling and measuring an organization's quality assurance function. The workshop is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for questions and discussions. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will: (1) understand the nature and purpose of the quality assurance function; (2) have the requisite knowledge to implement quality assurance activities; (3) understand how the quality assurance function can assist project teams in enhancing process and product quality; and (4) understand the focus and guidance of the CMMI Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) process area.
Our 1-day CM Practitioner Workshop course focuses on understanding the role of CM and its importance to an organization. The workshop includes an overview of CM roles and responsibilities and instruction on both how to identify and select configuration items (CI) throughout a project's lifecycle and plan for implementation of the CM process. The workshop is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for questions and discussions. The workshop addresses process group activities related to defining, planning, resourcing, deploying, implementing, monitoring, controlling, appraising, measuring, and improving processes. It provides participants with adequate knowledge and skills to perform process group functions successfully, and to assist in achieving organizational quality management improvements. The workshop is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for questions and discussions. Our half-day Training Coordinator Workshop focuses on how to establish and maintain an effective organizational training capability and function. The workshop addresses organizational training processes and responsibilities related to establishing strategic and tactical training plans; identifying training needs; acquiring or developing training materials and content; providing training; assessing the effectiveness of the training and overall training program; and maintaining records of completed trainings. It provides participants with adequate knowledge and skills to serve in the role of a training coordinator.
