Leadership
Ms.
Deborah Hunt is the President and CEO of iPower. A seasoned professional
and widely recognized visionary leader, Ms. Hunt has more than two decades
of senior level IT managerial and technical experience. Adept at providing
hands-on leadership and direction in the process improvement, SEI CMMI,
quality assurance, Internet and telecommunications arenas, she has consistently
far exceeded client expectations by correctly matching scarce resources
against competing priorities. An Authorized SEI SCAMPI Lead Appraiser, Authorized
SCAMPI B/C Team Lead, and Certified Quality Assurance Engineer, Ms. Hunt
also serves as an Adjunct professor of the American University, Washington
D.C. In this capacity, she provides courses and instruction within the
National Capital Region (NCR) that address studies, methods and modes
of implementation for software process improvement models such as SEI's
CMMI-SE/SW and its attendant process areas. As a former Vice President/Director
for an IT consulting and systems integration company, Ms. Hunt concurrently
organized, coordinated and directed production plans for service delivery
on more than 18 programs staffed by nearly 100 IT professionals as well
as numerous subcontractors and independent consultants. At the same time,
she successfully achieved SEI CMM Levels 2 and 3 for her department while
developing, implementing and sustaining an effective Process Improvement
Program.
Mr.
Edward Joseph is iPower's Director of Commercial Operations. A SEI
Authorized Instructor for the CMMI, an Authorized SCAMPI Appraiser and
Certified Quality Assurance Engineer, Mr. Joseph has a flawless track
record of success in improving and streamlining business processes, employing
technology for achieving value-added capabilities, improving quality and
customer satisfaction, and enhancing productivity, profitability and performance
for his clients. He is a proven performer in program management, strategic
planning, process improvement and software development. He additionally
has expertise in personnel management, budget planning and execution,
customer service, computer languages and operating systems. Throughout
his 18+ years of service in commercial and government-based technical
and managerial IT positions, Mr. Joseph has consistently received positive
client feedback and has been repeatedly cited for his hands-on leadership
and results-oriented performance.
Mr. Jeffrey Cummings serves as Director of iPower's Federal Operations.
With over 25 years supporting the Federal Community, Mr. Cummings has delivered
a broad array of IT services to numerous Civilian agencies including Social
Security Administration (SSA), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS), General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Treasury Department,
Homeland Security, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Veterans Administration
(VA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). He is adept at developing,
managing and optimizing organizational units, ranging in size from small
project teams to a division with 250 staff members. He has managed the delivery
of CMMI-based process improvements, independent validation and verification,
systems engineering studies and analysis, software testing, quality assurance
and configuration management. In his previous assignment as Vice President
and Division Director of an IT services company, he fostered organizations
that operated at SW CMM level 3. He is particularly adept at making the
model serve the needs of small and medium size operational units.
Mr. Leroy Faust serves as Director of iPower DoD Operations. Mr.
Faust has over 34 years of highly diversified experience in planning, programming,
engineering, implementation, operations and maintenance of telecommunications
systems and facilities in support of the Federal government, DoD, and the
United States Air Force (USAF). He has served in key DoD and USAF command
and staff positions as well as in senior positions at the US European Command
(USEUCOM), the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and the Office
of the Manager, National Communications System (OMNCS). Mr. Faust is a seasoned
Program Manager who has developed and implemented Presidentially mandated
national level programs, White House Statements of Requirements, and war
plans for the US Commander in Chief, Europe (USCINCEUR) and the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization (NATO).
